But I will first update y'all (See that? Y'all. I'm learnding (<--click on that link) how to speak like the Texans) on what Glen and I have been doing the past few days. After a good full week and one day at the Ellsworth home (Glen's parents') we finally went to our apartment last Thursday and stayed there. We decided we were going to have to put things together sooner or later, and we were probably wearing out our welcome at the Ellsworth home, though they probably didn't have the heart to kick us out. ANYway, our apartment--it took hours! I swear the boxes were like rabbits because each time I emptied one there were three more sitting right there... looking at me. What the what? It went on forever. So on Saturday we decided to take a little break and go shopping.
They do this thing here in Texas where they take the sales tax off most retail merchandise on the weekend before school starts , which is nice because then you save an extra 8%. Yeah, I know, it's not even that much but for some reason it makes the people of Texas go KER-AY-ZEE. So, Cindy (mom-in-law), Brielle (sis-in-law), Glen (husband), and me (me), elbowed our way through most stores, but it was so fun. I think I have it in my genes to tolerate excessive crowds to get a good deal. Take a look at this link: click here. The second picture down from the top on the right is my Aunt Penny, shopping on black friday, the day after Thanksgiving. Since I am still unemployed I didn't feel like I should spend any money, but Cindy was soo sweet and bought me a pair of really nice black heels. I was really needing some for an interview I had and my other ones were totally trashed from working at Allyse's.
Glen officially started law school today, but he was there Monday and Tuesday too for orientation. This meant that I was the one that had to finish putting our apartment together. It's pretty much done! So that is what I did the last couple of days.
Now on to the pictures.
Since I am an organized person, I will post the pictures in chronological order, beginning with the highlights of my summer:

Here are a few more snippets from other fun stuff from this summer, beginning with...

Here is some awesome food I got to eat at the wedding of the year:

First up, SEAWORLD!:
While we were there Glen's dog died. But since he is part of the family we kept him out for a few days. In this picture we are pretending that he is playing cards with us.
He's not actually dead, he just sleeps like this. Hilarious!
My BBBDF stopped by on her way from New Orleans (where her BF was doing sales) to Phoenix. I was SOOO HAPPY!
Glen is awesome and can ski:
I am not so awesome so I kneeboarded. But I CAN do a 360! (Thanks Rachel for teaching me this useful trick many years ago.)
AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST, BEFORE AND AFTER PICTURES OF OUR APARTMENT!
LIVING ROOM:
Before-Beforeish-Afterish-After
The Dining Area:
Kitchen Area
Thanks to Coralee!:
The Bathroom:
I didn't really have a before picture, but this is what it is now, thanks to Cindy for arranging everything!
And the hardest and worst part,
The Bedroom:
In celebration, yesterday we went to Round Rock Donuts, after hearing SO MANY good reviews from our family members.
