This is the first month Glen and I were apart as explained in this post. But we weren't really apart. He dropped me off in AZ memorial day weekend, right before my first day at the new office (my job moved from Austin, TX, to Phoenix, AZ, in case you're confused). He flew back to San Antonio, where he had an internship with a Federal Judge. He stayed with his parents, and I stayed with my cousin Leslie and her husband Don. They were incredibly generous and even gave me my own room. Originally, Glen was only going to make one visit between May 31st and July 2nd, when he would come and stay for the rest of the summer. But... we didn't last very long. We ended up spending a lot of money at Expedia.com, and Glen flew out to visit me every weekend except one (the first weekend when we realized how stupid we were). Well, we learned our lesson.

Nevertheless, we had some fun weekends! The Ellsworths and Barrands have a mighty fine time together. Unfortunately my camera was not functioning for most of this month, so I only have a handful of pictures, but I hope you enjoy!

Glen saw this owl after we went out to eat one night. We like him, he's special. The owl, I mean.
